So this one came by surprise to me but led to a night I had so much fun and got to meet new lovely people.

Let me start at the beginning. So me and my dear friend Lana and her lovely cousin Laure had plans to go out. It started with a good few minutes planning the outfits, because we girls love to dress up. Then it followed by a hole lot of minutes doing make-up, because we also like to look good. I in particular didn't wanted to look good for somebody, but it's just the fun of dressing up and spending time on make-up. It gives me a boost of energy and just makes me feel good.

So after we looked like we were ready for an evening of dancing and having fun we left the house. The night started at the 'Beer festival' in the town where Lana lives. I'm don't really like beers (sorry if I offended you but everybody has other tastes) so I went for the fruity ones, making it easier to go down. We had some fun conversations as we walked trough the crowd, sipping from our glasses.

After we all had downed our 3 beers of choice we went to the bar where we could use those legs for some dancing. I think after an hour we needed some fresh air and that's when we lost our dear Lana to a gentleman with a black hat (how mysterious). No worries, she was fine and the guy wasn't that bad at all. The fact that he found himself funny made him a little bit funny. Anyway, getting side-tracked. So we lost Lana to this guy and Laure and I were left alone outside. And that's when our new friends for the evening showed up. Laure started making conversation with two guys that were standing close to us. They were lovely guys, around our age which was refreshing on itself. They came from the Netherlands and were with a group of 8 people. So that was a good deal. Losing 1 girl and getting 8 boys in return. Maybe I should lose Lana more often (Just kidding Lana I love you). So the other guys showed up and Laure had already decided that they would be our new friends for the evening. I wasn't complaining since they really were nice guys. As we all went back inside, after some minutes of talking outside, to enjoy the music something magical happened. The question 'what are you drinking?' came. And that my friends is the story of how this item could be crossed off my bucket list. That one drink got followed by a few others so I'm so grateful for these guys that they just included us into their group (and before you think we used them, you're wrong. I did ask to pay myself but the wines just kept coming).

I'm so thankful for meeting them and just enjoying my evening and getting to talk, have interesting conversations and forget al the worries in the world. I'll probably never see them again, but maybe... maybe they'll read this blog (yes they knew that they helped me cross off an item afterwards) and they'll see how they had made my evening. And yes Lana and Laure you guys were awesome as well!!
