Attend a school reunion

So this happened last week. I had a high school reunion. I don't have a lot of contact anymore with the people I knew from high school. You know, life happens and once you get to college people just go their own way. So I was glad when 2 people from my high school organised the reunion. I can't believe it has been 11 years already. Damn I'm getting old.

I'm not gonna lie, I was a little bit nervous to go. I was afraid about the fact that everybody was gonna start telling about how good their life was and how many kids they had, ... . Gladly it wasn't like that at all. Everybody was pretty much the same as in high school and most of the people were at the same stage in their life as me. It was kind of refreshing to see that it's not a must to have kids and a family already. It was also nice to reconnect with the people I lost contact with and to hear they felt the same. I really hope I can regain that friendship and I'll try to put some effort in it.

There was only one sad part and that was that only 14 people showed up. It would have been more fun if more people would have come. there are still some people I would love to reconnect with. Still, it was a fun night with lots of laughter and good company!
